The Aquaphor Prestige series uses the A5 replacement filters, which are advanced filters with a longer life span than the MAXFOR+ filters.
The MAXFOR+ filters have a filter capacity of 200 liters of water and the A5 filters can filter up to 350 liters of water.
What's inside a filter cartridge
Inside the cartridge, the filter components are tightly packed. The mixture contains activated carbon from coconut shells and ion exchange resin.
Activated carbon removes harmful impurities: chlorine and the dangerous chlorine compounds, pesticides and other toxins. The water becomes clear, without odor and taste. Coconut shells are the best material for producing the carbon mixture, this way the filtration process is much more efficient.
